Kaya was born and raised on Amelia Island. She attended both the local public schools, as well as, private school in Jacksonville. After graduating high school, she went to Young Harris college in the mountains of North Georgia, and SCC in the western North Carolina mountains. She then moved to Costa Rica for 2 ½ years, before returning to Amelia and purchasing her own home in 2001.
She has 3 children, who have attended the local private and public schools. Very active in the school system, she has a great deal of experience to help customers with young children looking to relocate to Amelia.
Her knowledge of the Island and community is unparalleled. That is partially attributed to both of her parents being business owners. Her father, Franklin Holloway of Holloway & Associates, was the first private builder for the Amelia Island Plantation and Long Point. His reputation for being a trustworthy, straight shooter is something she believes he passed along to her, and is extremely important in developing solid business relationships.
Honesty, Integrity, vast knowledge of the island, life long relationships with builders, architects, and subcontractors are all things that give Kaya an advantage in helping potential customers find exactly what they are looking for on Amelia.
